Beekeeping Experiences

Step inside the hive. Our hands-on experiences connect you directly to the bees, the harvest, and the land.

The Experience

Exploring Our Hives, One Frame at a Time

Guided by an experienced beekeeper, you’ll see the hive as few ever do — frame by frame. Watch the foragers at work, the brood being cared for, and maybe even spot the queen. By the end, you’ll see why beekeepers can’t help but fall in love with their bees.

Suit Up

We’ll fit you with a professional beekeeping suit that keeps you protected while giving you the freedom to move, observe, and confidently immerse yourself in our apiary.

Meet The Bees

At the hives, you’ll see bees gathering nectar, nurturing the young, and sustaining the colony as our beekeepers highlight the queen, workers, and drones and explain the role each plays in hive life.

Enjoy The Honey

We’ll end our time in the apiary with a taste of honey fresh from the comb, where you’ll discover how the flavors shift with the seasons and blossoms and savor the unique sweetness of our hives.

Beekeeping Experiences for Groups & Organizations

Our beekeeping experiences are a good fit for groups that want something unique and meaningful. They’re designed with business teams, educational programs, and special events in mind — giving each a hands-on way to learn, connect, and walk away with a story worth sharing.

Business Retreats

A hands-on change of pace from the boardroom. The hive is teamwork in action — every bee has a role. It’s a memorable way for teams to connect, recharge, and come back with a fresh perspective.

Schools & Education

A visit to the apiary brings science to life. Students see how bees support ecosystems and agriculture up close — a memorable, curriculum-connected experience for K–12 groups.

Special Events

Birthdays, bachelorettes, family reunions — an afternoon with the bees is something genuinely different. Guests suit up, step into the yard, and walk away with a story worth telling.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

We recommend light, comfortable clothing that covers your arms and legs. Closed-toe shoes are a must. We’ll provide you with a professional beekeeper suit and protective gear.

Most sessions run about 2 hours, including a short introduction, time at the hives, and Q&A.

While we take every precaution, there is always a small chance of a sting when working with bees. The suits greatly reduce the risk, and our hives are carefully maintained for gentle handling.

For safety reasons, we don’t recommend this experience for anyone with severe bee sting allergies. Please consult your doctor before booking if you’re unsure.
